Medeama arrived in Equitorial Guinea on Thursday morning ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup match against Panthers FC on Sunday.

The Mauve and Yellows touched down at the Malabo airport at 04:00am this morning and met on arrival by consular of Ghana's embassy Emmanuel Duodu.

The team then checked in at the Tropicana Hotel and had breakfast at 07:30 am before retiring to their rooms.

Nineteen contingent made up of 19 players, FIFA referee Cecil Fleischer, five technical team members, four management team members and management consultant and Premier League Board member Kofi Manu made the trip.

Club president Moses 'parker' Armah did not travel with the team.

The team will host their first training session at 16hrs GMT (4pm Ghana time).

The FA Cup holders will be seeking a favourable result from the first leg to make the return encounter a mere formality.
