Medeama have arrived in Zambia ahead of Sunday’s return fixture of the CAF Confederation Cup against Zesco United.

The Ghanaian side left Accra on Wednesday night and arrived in Zambia on Thursday afternoon where the team has checked in at their hotel in Ndola.

Coach Carlos Roberto Paullete men must protect their 2-0 lead from the first leg to advance to the final qualifying round.

One of the two sides will be entered into a draw scheduled to take place on April 1 in Cairo to determine which side qualify to the group phase.

The Tarkwa-based side are Ghana’s only surviving representative in Africa’s inter-club competition this term after Kotoko, Berekum Chelsea and Ebusua Dwarfs crushed out of the competition.
