Medeama line up Hasaacas friendly ahead of Liberty test

Published on: 06 November 2012

Medeama will engage Western regional rivals Sekondi Hasaacas in a friendly on Tuesday ahead of Sunday’s Premier League game at Liberty Professionals.

The Mauves ad Yellows want to pick the pieces after they suffered their first defeat of the season against Asante Kotoko over the weekend.

Head coach Bashir Hayford is expected to use the friendly exercise at the Tarkwa and Aboso Park- home venue of Medeama, to assess the players and give those on the fringes an opportunity to impress.

The side will travel to face in-form Liberty Professionals who managed a surprised 1-0 win at Berekum Arsenal in their last encounter.

Liberty have recorded two straights victories after a difficult start to the campaign and will prove a difficult test for the league leaders.

Medeama drew 2-2 with the scientific soccer lads at the Sly Tetteh stadium last season.
