Medeama midfielder Eric Kwakwa has expressed his disappointment at the postponement of the start of the Ghana Premier League.

Great Olympics served the Ghana Football Association a court injunction on Tuesday, the second time on this year, which has forced the start of the country's top flight to be postponed indefinitely.

The premiership was initially scheduled to commence on 11th February, 2018 but a court injunction by the Wonder Club prevented it.

"It is really a worry to us because our coach knew the league was coming off so he gave us training that was to make us ready for our first game this weekend," Kwakwa to Silver FM in Kumasi.

"The postponement of the league start is very disturbing. A player might be at his peak at the moment and by the time the league kicks off there will be a dip in form."

Medeama  were supposed to take on newly promoted Karela United at the Tarkwa and Aboso park this Sunday.
