Medeama midfielder Daniel Larbi Koomson is recovering well at home after breaking his knee during a Premier League game against Ebusua Dwarfs last month.
The impressive enforcer is healing well after undergoing an operation at the Ridge hospital to correct the problem.
Koomson suffered the injury following an innocuous challenge on Kotoko defender Kwabena Edusei and was later rushed to the hospital in the capital.
The player says he is responding to treatment and hopes to recover sooner than expected to play his part in the teamââ¬â¢s quest to win the Premier League crown.
ââ¬ÅThis season I was hoping to have an injury-free season to help the team but unfortunately I got injured,â⬠Koomson said
ââ¬ÅBut all the same Iââ¬â¢m in high spirit and hope to rejoin my colleagues soon.
ââ¬ÅI wish them all the best in the game against Liberty on Sunday.ââ¬
