A Larbi Koomson wonderful corner-kick sealed a 1-0 win for Medeama who visited New Edubiase in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The former Ghana U23 midfielder’s corner went straight into the net with Edubiase goalkeeper Iddrisu Salia failing to deal with it on 33 minutes.
Sekyi Quaye and Asiedu Attobrah tormented the Medeama defence and looked likely to open the scoring but it was the visitors who registered the first goal.
Iddrisu pulled a world class stop to deny Larbi Koomson from doubling Medeama’s lead.
Edubiase had all their efforts to cancel out the goal thwarted by the Medeama defence.
