Medeama's Swedish trainer - Tom strand - is unhappy with his side's failure to reach the finals of the FirsTrust G6 tournament following a disappointing 3-0 trouncing at the hands of Aduana Stars.

The MTN FA Cup holders won their first game 1-0 at the expense of Hearts of Oak and needed to claim just a point against Aduana to book a place in the final.

But the Yellow and Mauves appeared out of sorts and sluggish in their second consecutive game under 24 hours, and the ‘Fire Club’ who had a day’s rest after their first game took full advantage.

Former Asante Kotoko dexterous player Yahaya Mohammed hit a brace in between Daniel Darkwah's dazzling strike from the edge of the box to see Aduana through.

Strand expressed his dissatisfaction with his player’s performance in a post match interview;

"Of course I'm not happy. Medeama were little bit shaky. I can't tell if preparation wasn't good enough or game plan wasn't good enough. But we have to be effective, play and put our chances into the net"

He however praised Aduana for their brilliance and wished them the very best in the finals against Asante Kotoko.

"Aduana has a good team and they play well. All the best in the final"

Aduana stars will face Asante kotoko for the ultimate on Sunday after the latter finished first in group B.
