Medeama will be seeking their first ever home win over Kotoko in Sunday’s super clash in the Ghanaian top-flight.

The Mauve and Yellows have struggled against the defending champions at home since they marked their Premier League debut in 2010.

They have lost their last five games at the Tarkwa and Aboso Park, culminating in their desire to end the voodoo.

Medeama are better in shape than their opponent ahead of Sunday’s game with the club anxious to record their first ever win over Kotoko in the Premier League at home.

Club president Moses Armah is confident his team will end their long-wait for a win over the Kumasi-based side.

“We are going to win. The boys have promised me they will do all they can to win this game,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com

“We have not beaten them at home and that’s what we seek to change today (Sunday).

“I think we’re in a better shape than them and so I’m confident Kotoko will fall. There has to be way to stop them and that starts today.”

Both teams are tied on 28 points from with 10 games left to end the season.
