Medeama lost 1-0 at home to Heart of Lions

Medeama suffered a shocking 1-0 defeat at home to Heart of Lions to leave them winless after four games.

The Mauves and Yellows were once again left frustrated with a performance which has raised more questions than answers.

Nana Adjiri’s strike in the second half separated the two sides at the Tarkwa and Aboso Park to incur feathers among their teeming fans.

It was their former employees who came back to haunt them with as many as five former players playing against them and thought them a bitter lesson with the precious win away from home.

For Lions coach Yusif Abubakar, it would be a sweeter victory after leaving the side just a year ago.

Medeama are still without a win after four games which has left them at a shocking 12th position on the league table.
