Medeama star Justice Blay shockingly overlooked in Black Stars B squad to face Burkina Faso in CHAN qualifier
Justice Blay has been left out of the Black Stars B squad as controversy rocks 18-man squad in Ghana

Medeama midfield maestro Justice Blay was the surprised exclusion from the Black Stars B squad ahead of the 2018 CHAN qualifier against Burkina Faso on Saturday.

Blay, who has been in an imperious form for the Mauve and Yellows, was left out of the squad that traveled to Ouagadougou on Wednesday under unexplained circumstances.

The rejection of the workholic defensive midfielder has raised massive suspicion in the West African nation, judging from his impeccable form this season.

Already allegations of favouritism, nepotism and patronage are flying in the air amid widespread suspicion the  call-ups were not based on merit.

Strikingly, Asante Kotoko boast of the highest number of players in the squad despite their perceived sub-standard performance in the league so far while League leaders Aduana Stars contributed 3 players.

Shockingly coach Maxwell Konadu opted to leave out the ONLY RECOGNIZED AND TESTED defensive midfielder in the squad amid fears the overly offensive minded enforcers may not be able to contain the brute force of the home side.

The team will be hoping to qualify for the continental showpiece in Kenya after missing out on the Rwanda edition in 2016 losing out to Ivory Coast in the qualifiers.
