Medeama striker Kabiru Moro expects a mean Asante Kotoko side when both team clash for the outstanding Premier League game on Thursday.

Both teams are coming from contrasting moods after their African inter-club competitions engagement ahead of the original Matchday 17 fixture.

Medeama have progressed to the next round of their debut African campaign in the CAF Confederations Cup while Asante Kotoko are still seething from their early exit from the Champions League at the hands of Liberian club Barrack Young Controllers.

And striker for the Yellow and Mauves Kabiru Moro expect his former club to rebound strongly from their massive disappointment in Africa in Thursday’s crunch game.

“The game against Kotoko will not be easy at all because they are desperate to get going again after their Champions League defeat,” he told Metro FM.

“They [Kotoko] will want to do something for their fans after the weekend’s disappointment and so we expect a very tough game against them.”

Kotoko will stretch their lead at the top of the Ghanaian top flight to seven points is they manage a win over the current FA Cup holders.

Medeama on the other hand will enhance their top four credentials with a win over the Ghanaian heavyweights.
