Medeama will battle a Takoradi select side in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday.
Head coach Bashir Hayford is expected to use players on the fringes and also test some of the newly recruited ones.
The Takoradi select side will parade  ex-national team players including midfielder Stephen Baidoo,  defender Joseph Hendericks and George Owu at the Tarkwa and Aboso Park.
The Mauves and Yellows is expected to make an official announcement on the number of purchases in the coming weeks.
