Medeama to travel for opening Confederations Cup match on Wednesday
Medeama will be making their first appearance in Africa

Medeama will leave Ghana on Wednesday for their CAF Confederations Cup match against Panthers FC this weekend.

The Yellow and Mauves are making their first ever appearance in an African club competition following their FA Cup feat last season.

The Medeama team will arrive in Accra on Wednesday to begin their journey to Equatorial Guinea.

They will make a brief stop in Togo to connect to a flight to their final destination.

The weekend match away to Panthers FC is the first leg of the first preliminary round match of the second tier African club competition.

Medeama’s Premier League fixture against Inter Allies originally scheduled to be played on Wednesday has therefore been postponed.
