Medeama have had a protest against Aduana Stars for failing to pay a cost awarded against them within the stipulated time dismissed by the Disciplinary Committee.

In dismissing the protest, a cost of GH¢3,000.00 has been awarded against Medeama.

Medeama claimed that the conduct of Aduana contravened Article 39(8) (b) and 34(I) (L) of the Ghana Football Association Regulations after they failed to pay a cost of GH¢5,000.00 in their protest against Hearts of Oak.

But Aduana backed their defence with proof of receipt received from the Ghana Football Association confirming payment.

The Disciplinary Committee confirmed that Aduana paid the cost on on 30 April, 2014, thus before their Premier League fixture with Medeama on the same day.
