Kevin-Prince Boateng fiancée Melissa Satta has lashed out at Schalke for carving a bad image for him due to his numerous tattoos.  Â

Schalke kicked the Ghanaian international alongside Germany winger Sidney Sam out of the squad, following their shock 2-0 league defeat at Cologne last week.

Satta has hits back at the German side claiming the club has deliberately carved a bad image for him due to his tattoos on his body.

" You present Kevin as a bad boy. You have prejudices because he has tattoos, but they are mistaken,”she is quoted by Italian magazine Chi.

“He's 28 who loves football and doing his job like a pro and has healthy levels.

"When the results were bad, he was buried for nine games on the bench, without reason.

“Hardly he played again, he met and helped the team and then you suspend him. Is this normal? she quizzed.

The German professional footballers union, the VDV, has urged Boateng to take legal action against Schalke, who contracted till 2016.
