Barcelona ace Leo Messi has assured directors he'd welcome Philippe Coutinho to the Nou Camp.
Good friend Neymar has been talking up the prospect of the Liverpool star joining him at Barca this summer.
And it's been claimed Messi is unhappy as Coutinho's arrival would strengthen Neymar's influence inside the Barca locker room.
However, El Mundo Deportivo says the stories are wide of the mark and that Messi would be happy should Coutinho arrive.
It's been suggested Barca chiefs see the Brazilian as a successor for veteran captain Andres Iniesta.
