Borussia Monchengladbach are lining up a club-record bid to sign Chelsea youngster Andreas Christensen, according to sporting director Max Erbei.
He is quoted to have said: “The Chelsea contact is very, very close. There is definitely a chance. How high the price will be, is something which will now need to be discussed”
The 20-year old is reportedly in search of first-team play after impressing during the two seasons spent with the Bundesliga side, who had a £15m bid rejected by Chelsea last week.
Anyway, Christensen himself told Kicker: “I don’t see that I necessarily need to go to England to move forward in my career.”
