Kotoko midfielder Michael Anaba is confident the Porcupine Warriors will come out good in their explosive encounter against Hearts this weekend.

Kotok face Hearts at the Baba Yara stadium in Kumasi on Sunday, in a fixture that will be important for the two teams.

Kotoko will be anxious for the points to keep their hopes of defending their crown alive while Hearts will be desperate for win to remain in the Premier League title race.

The 18-year-old impressive enforcer admits the enormity of the task ahead but insists confidence has sky-rocked in the Kotoko camp.

“We are confident of winning and that’s what we’re working towards,” Anaba told GHANAsoccernet.com

“Hearts are struggling a bit at the moment but that is nothing because matches involving these two sides do not follow form guide in my opinion.

“If we want to retain the Premier League title, then we must win every game and that includes victory over Hearts.

“Confidence in the squad is high and we just pray that we have a good day. I am sure fans will be entertained with some good football from both sides.”

Kotoko beat Hearts 2-1 at the same venue last season.
