Ghana superstar Michael Essien has angrily denied that he has copped a smashingly beautiful Greek girlfriend, hitting out at Ghana's leading football news outfit GHANAsoccernet.com for publishing the story with a picture showing him apparently chilling with Maria Kazarian.
Even though Ghanasoccernet.com was not categorical in stating that the Panathinaikos star Essien - who is married with three kids - is dating the Greek goddess, the article looks to have ruffled a few feathers with suggestive implications.
Denying that he is dating the beautiful girl from Athens, the former Chelsea star angrily riposted by insisting that he was 'minding his own business' when the article struck with the picture.
“When you're minding your own business then you see so called Ghanasoccernet writing stupid things about you thinking they've got an exclusive stories," Essien wrote on micro-blogging website Twitter and Instagram .
"F**cking idiots get your fact right and be professional about it, before writing stupid things about others," Essien added in his post late in the night.
Angry over the publication, Essien even screenprinted the story on Ghana's leading football news website and posted it on his page on Instagram and Twitter as seen below.

While the midfielder’s personal life seems to be secure right now, his professional one is less clear with a niggling injury which has made start to life at Panathinaikos increasingly difficult.
The former AC Milan man joined the Greens during the summer in a mega move but has endured a difficult spell on the sidelines due to a problematic groin and knee injuries.
But it appears the injury will not be a stumbling block in his way to enjoy the company of beauty women in Greece.
Despite hitting out at Ghanasoccernet.com, Ghana's leading football news outlets remains the only English speaking media outfit regularly updating fans of the former Chelsea powerhouse with news on his progress in the Greek league which is considered by others as obscure.
Constant news updates on Essien's time at Panathinaikos will be published consistently on Ghanasoccernet.com as the midfielder remains on of Ghana's key footballing talents.
