Michael Osei insists he's in charge of Kotoko's recruitment

Interim Kotoko coach Michael Osei insists he's fully in charge of the club's recruitment.

The former Kotoko midfielder claims he has the seal of approval from Executive Chairman Dr Kwame Kyei to bring in fresh legs.

Media reports have claimed the ex-New Edubiase assistant coach was not in charge of the side's recruitment drive.

But he has water down on the reports insisting he's still in charge.

" I can confirm to you that I'm fully responsible for players recruitment in the ongoing transfer window. He[Dr. Kwame Kyei] made this known to me when we both met to deliberate on what players should be brought to Kotoko ahead of the coming season,'' told Kumasi-based Silver FM.

''Dr. Kwame Kyei even produced some list of players for their possible recruitment and surprisingly it coincided with what I also had in mind. I penciled down the same players as my targeted ones and we're still pushing for their sevices.

"So He has left everything to me and I can emphatically say that I'm 100 percent in charge of signing the new players at the moment.''
