Michael Osei wants Kotoko coaching job on permanent basis, insists he can do the job

Interim Kotoko Michael Osei wants to be handed the job on a permanent basis after guiding the team to a memorable 1-0 win over rivals Hearts of Oak in Ghana's Super clash on Monday.

The former New Edubiase assistant coach insist he is the right man for the job after masterminding the side's narrow win in the capital.

Osei has thrown a massive challenge to the club's board to hand him the job after endearing himself to the club's teeming followers.

"I am ready for the job. It's the decision of the board and the management, but I am ready." he told the Ghanaian media on Monday.

The interim gaffer is poised to hold detailed talks over the vacant post, with Osei keen to find out whether he will David Duncan - at least until the end of the season and possibly beyond.
