All Stars midfielder Emmanuel Adu Offei believes his side’s tactical superiority was responsible for the win over Hearts of Oak.

The Wa-based team secured a shocking 2-1 result against Hearts at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday.

Goals from Joshua Otoo and Hafiz Adams with Offei pulling the strings in midfield proved too much for the Phobians who scored a consolation through an Osei Bonsu spot kick.

And the ex Asante Kotoko player gave all the plaudits to coach Nurudeen Ali for fashioning out a superior tactical plan for the win.

“We trained very hard and our coach mapped out the appropriate strategy to secure the victory,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com after the game.

“We were disciplined on the field and applied everything the coach taught us and that is how the win came about.

“We were focused throughout the game and the coach was constantly talking to us.

“To play against a big club like Hearts, you have to prepare physically and mentally and that is what we had today.”

All Stars next host Tema Youth at the Wa Park on Sunday.
