Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Muntari insists his time with Black Stars is not finished despite being suspended from the team.

The former AC Milan enforcer has not featured for the four-time Africa champions since 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil following dressing room confusion.

The 32-year-old, who is in Uganda for a United Nations programme alongside Japanese attacker Keisuke Honda told reporters of his desire to return to the team's set up.

“I am not yet retired even though I have been out of the Ghana Black Stars team for a long time. I am ready to work out with my new club and get recalled."

“I couple of days ago I spoke with the manager Appiah and we spoke about my future."
