Newly-promoted Ghana Premier League side Tudu Mighty Jets want to play their home matches in Akosombo, a club official has confirmed.

Jets have written to the Premier League Board to move from Accra to the Eastern Region which has no club representative in the top flight.

"Proceeds have been poor and we think a move to Akosombo will help. In our match against RTU at the Accra Sports Stadium we made net profit of 65 Ghana cedis and that is not encouraging," Patron of the club Sami Suker Braimah told Ghanasoccernet.com

The club began at the El-Wak Stadium in Accra before moving temporarily to the national stadium in the capital to play Hearts of Oak.
