Midfielder Mohammed Abu held his first training session with Rayo Vallecano on Thursday after completing a one-year loan move to the Spanish outfit.

The Ghanaian was unveiled to the media on Thursday and trained with his new team-mates including home grown Owusu, Gabri and Ruben at the Sports City.

The training regime included an intense workday with physical work, round and rotation, which brings pressure and circulation in football space.

The 20-year-old joined the Spanish side from English giants Manchester City which own his economic rights until June 2014.

The Dream Academy graduate, spent lasts season on loan at Norwegian outfit Stromgodest where he notched up impressive performances.

He played at the 2012 African Cup of Nations held in Gabon and Equitorial Guinea.
