MONTPELLIER - No chance for Sessegnon due to work permit. Enter PL club Burnley

Published on: 24 September 2016

After a long course in English football, during which he had been playing for Sunderland, from 2010/11 second half to 2012/13, and WBA, from 2013/14 to 2015/16, Beninese international attacking midfielder Stephane Sessegnon was seemingly about to get back to Ligue 1.

According to L'Equipe, however, Montpellier haven't been able to sign him, so far at least, since his current work permit allows him to play only in England. Hence, former PSG player is now getting more and more likely to join Burnley, and a new football campaign, a Premier League one again.
