More Europe-based youngsters to get Ghana chance under Appiah

More Europe-based youngsters are expected to get chance under new Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah.

Appiah has been named the substantive coach of the team after replacing Israeli Avram Grant.

The 56-year-old is expected to cast his net wide to attract the best pool of talented players dotted across Europe on his return.

The former Ghana captain is under enormous pressure to silence critics and end the country's long wait for an African crown.

He is expected to take a look-in at several Ghanaian youngsters who are blazing the trail with their respective clubs in Europe in particular.

Swiss-based striker Raphael Dwamena, fast rising Anderlecht left back Dennis Appiah, Serbian-based Richmond Boakye-Yiadom amongst others are some of players expected to be given a look-in.

Appiah will leave no stone unturned in his quest to make his second stint a remarkable and historic one.
