Hearts of Oak promising midfielder Moro Abubakar is suspended for Sunday’s ‘Super Clash’ against sworn-rivals Asante Kotoko.

Abubakar who has been impressive for the capital-based club this season will miss the big game at the Baba Yara stadium due to yellow card accumulation.

The absence of the workaholic middleman will be a massive blow for coach C.K Akonnor who will attempt to beat Kotoko at their own backyard to win the affection of the supporters and also boost his confidence in his young coaching career.

“It’s quite a blow to miss him as Moro is a vital part of the team,” the 39-year-old said

“But that will also give another player the opportunity to stake a claim for a first team place,”

Hearts will need to win at Kotoko to cut the point difference to seven.
