Moses Armah on course to build dynasty at 'Cup specialist' Medeama

Published on: 08 February 2016

Club owner Moses Armah is on course to build a dynasty at Medeama following another historic triumph on the domestic scene.

Medeama added another silverware to their fast-improving trophy cabinet after the side managed a deserved 1-0 win over Ashantigold to lift the 2016 Ghana FA Super Cup on Sunday.

The Cup specialist produced another scintillating performance to lift the trophy at the Accra Sports stadium.

While the club continues to bask in the glory after another famous feat, club president Moses Armah has been hugely credited for the quick-rise of the Tarkwa-based side.

The business magnate, watched on television, as his troops delivered their first title in the year - another testament of the side's hunger, drive and passion for achieving the ultimate.

He's the brain and power behind the club's surge in the Ghanaian top-flight.

Quite unassuming the hugely respected football owner has invested heavily in the club with little or no returns amid a growing passion which is turning football on its head in the West African nation.

Huge capital injection coupled with strategic off-season signings is turning Medeama into a powerful force in Ghanaian football.

A fairy-tale journey that started only six years ago, has seen the club finish in the top four on two occasions and winning the FA Cup twice as well as their recent success in the Super Cup.

A real gem and visionary leader, Moses Armah nicknamed 'Mospacaka' is on a mission to create a lasting dynasty at the club in the diamond cum gold mining town of Tarkwa.

Armah has set his eyes on Ghanaian football domination after assembling a crop of talented and hungry players.

The steel magnate is trying to build something special with the tools at his disposal looking sharper and better suited for dynasty building than any he's been armed with at Medeama in the short past.

His influence on the club has been incredible with a pool of talented players and fabolous tactician in the shape of Tom Strand gradually making the dream a reality.

Very few can carry success through different eras and paradigms but Moses Armah appears to be bracing the storm.

Medeama will hope to better their lot in the CAF Confederation Cup this year after missing qualification to the group phase by a whisker in 2013.
