Lorient striker Majeed Waris is praying for his mother and Ghana's pilgrims to this year's Hajj in the Holy city of Mecca.
Madam Hajia Abiba, who will be making her fourth pilgrimage, was among the first batch who flew out on Friday.
For the first time, pilgrims were airlifted from the Tamale International Airport.
