MTN FA Cup: Disciplinary Committee orders GFA to pay Eleven Wise GHC1000 to prepare for replay against New Edubiase

The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana FA has ordered the federation to pay an amount of GHC1000 to Division One League side Eeven Wise to prepare for a replay of their FA Cup clash with New Edubiase United.

The two DOL side were supposed to have met in the preliminary round of the 2017 FA Cup but New Edubiase failed to turn up for the game.

Eleven Wise referred the matter to the Disciplinary Committee of the FA protesting they are declared winners of the game.

But the DC in their decision dismissed the protest insisting it was not filed on time.

“That for filing the case out of time the protest of Sekondi Eleven Wise FC is hereby dismissed,” the DC stated in their ruling.

The match, according to the DC must be replayed at the Essipon Stadium on April 12.

Wise will however be paid an amount of Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC1000) to prepare for the game according to the DC.

“That the GFA is hereby ordered to pay Sekondi Eleven Wise FC an amount of One Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHc1,000.00) for their preparation for the default match,” the statement added.
