MTN has not ruled out the possibility of sponsoring the Ghana Premier League which has grown in excitement and quality.

The telecommunication giants say it will consider a proposal from the Ghana federation when brought forward.

MTN currently sponsors the Ghana FA Cup which is in its fifth season and might want to associate itself

“When it comes up, we will look at it. Some of the discussions will come up and when it comes up, we will look at it,” Acting Chief Marketing Officer Noel Kojo Ganson told Starr FM.

“We will measure the benefits and since football is one of our pillars, we will look at the opportunities that are available once an approach.”

The Ghana Premier League is without a headline sponsor after Capital Bank (formerly First Capital Plus Bank) suspended their relationship with the league.
