Ghana and Las Palmas midfielder Mubarak Wakaso is happy compatriot Sulley Muntari is putting up stellar performances for Saudi top flight side Al Ittihad.

Muntari, scored for the second game running in his sides dominant 6-2 victory over Al Raed on Thursday night.

Wakaso who himself was close to joining Al Ittihad on the recommendation of Muntari is also enjoying his best run of form since joining Spanish La Liga side Las Palmas on loan from Russian side Rubin Kazan having played in every game this year.

“Muntari is a brother and I am happy with his performance week in week out,” Wakaso told GHANAsoccernet.com

“He gets better every game and can do anything he wills in a game.”

“I am happy he continues to enjoy his game all the time.”
