Muntari: "Milan will be ready for the start of the league''
Sulley Muntari

Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari has complete faith in the work of coach Filippo Inzaghi and has said that ‘it is not nice to lose’.

Milan’s United States and Canada tour has been abysmal so far as they conceded 8 goals in two games – against Olympiakos and Manchester City.

Muntari captained Milan and scored the consolation in their 5-1 defeat to Manchester  City.

He is however convinced that the team can do well next year.

“We’re doing well in training, the coach’s ideas are positive for us players. We can go far, I have a lot of confidence in what the coach is doing. We have the objective of focusing our efforts for the start of the league championship,” Muntari, who turns 30 next in a month, said after the 5-1 defeat.

“We don’t want to talk, but simply work hard. We always speak amongst ourselves, we want to do well and be a good group. This year we’ll get our head down, keep our feet on the ground & work.”
