Alhassan Kalusha has been setting the Namibian Premier League alight according to Woody Jacobs

Namibia U23 coach Woody Jacobs has alerted Ghanaian coaches and officials of the exploits of midfielder Alhassan Kalusha in the Namibian Premier League.

The 20-year-old plays for Tura Magic but there are reports he could be on the move very soon due to his impressive performances.

Woody Jacobs who is in Ghana with his Namibian U23 team on a training tour chipped in the exploits of the young Ghanaian midfielder during an interview with

The Namibian coach believes Kalusha deserves at least a look into any of the Ghana national teams he is eligible for.

Jacobs however warned that if Ghana is unwilling, his country is always ready to apply for a nationality switch for the Ghanaian in order to play for Namibia.

“There is a player of Ghana in Namibia, I coached him at Tura Magic in the Namibian Premier League,” Jacobs told

“I think this is one player you should look at, it is a marvel. He plays in attacking midfield.

“I think he is eligible to play for your under 23 team if not for the under 20. His name is Alhassan Kalusha.

“The coaches here should pay attention to him because he is setting the Premiership in Namibia alight. He is a good player.

“If you don’t like him, we will get him to play for Namibia.”

it will have been easy if our youth set up had room for players such as being touted here by the namibian coach unfortunately that is never going to be the case.Once i read about a ghanaian south african who plays for orlando pirates wishing to play for ghana. but when you look at the backlash against adomah? look at what kwarasey has to put up with? how much more for a ghanaian born and playing in namibia? so good luck kalusha alhassan and kudos for the good work you doing which ultimately raises the profile of ghana soccer in namibia. bless. keep doing that and am sure on a personal level it wont be long before you are being heard of in europe and making some good change.
