Nana Akwasi Asare snatched a point for FC Utrecht at Heracles
Ghana winger Nana Akwasi Asare scored an intelligent goal to snatch a share of the spoils for FC Utrecht in a one-all stalemate at Heracles Almelo in the Dutch Eredivisie on Friday.
Heracles piled early pressure on Utrecht with Ghanaian midfielder Kwame Quansah rattling the crossbar with a long range drive.
Lerin Duarte connected home a cross from inside the box to give Heracles the lead.
But captain Asare shot from an acute angle to restore parity for Utrecht in the 27th minute after his effort deflected a Heracles defender from the left.
Kwame Quansah lasted the entire duration of the game for Heracles.
Captain Asare,Quincy and Boakye-Yiadom should be part of Ghana squad AFCON2013
we have a fully blooded ghanaian captaining a premier european club, playing regular football and scoring to but yet still no call up. sometyms i ask maself how do the bs technical team select their players. most of our defenders are just recovering from injury, therfore they are not fully reliable we need very fit and smart defenders like nana kwasi asare.no hussle or tusssle about this. this dude is very very qualified to be in the BS , aahh a captain of a european club paaaah. i guess he would be in the dutch team if he was a dutch.
ONLY IN GH,LAND OF BLECKMAN. NO NTUAHO, NO SELECTION…HOW CAN U WIN TROPHIES IF U DO THIS…LOL MONKEYS
Only God knows the criteria for call ups into the national team.
What that Kwame Quansah guy?
Useless kumasi coach.
..and we cry about not winning a nations cup? donkeys cannot be sent to do the work of horses —whether they be coaches or players.
Guess who will be called for the AFCON —-Inkoom, Lee Addy, Derek Boateng, Paintsil, Annan, Ben Acheampong, Yahya Mohammed, ….oh yeah…just watch what Akwasi Appiah will do! No clue…..
And guess the dropouts? —-Adomah, Quincy, Nana ASARE…maybe WAKASO (but thank God Sulley is hurt …but this coach can still drop mubarak since he has no clue), Afriyie Acquah, Yiadom, etc….
Donkeys….no matter how thorough-bred they are, cannot never do the work of ordinary, mixed-breed horses…..!
