Ghana legend Abedi Ayew claims his Nania FC side are not keen on playing in Caf's Inter clubs competition despite advancing to the final of the MTN FA Cup.

The three-time African Footballer of the Year coach saw  the second-tier side  edge newly crowned Ghana Premier League Champions Berekum Chelsea 5-3 on penalties at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.

Both teams were tied at 2-2 after extra-time.

Winning the final of the competition will secure them a place in the qualifiers of the 2011 Caf Confederations Cup.

But Abedi Pele is not fixated on participating in continental football.

"Playing in Africa is not my target. What I want to ensure is that there are quality players in this team who want to show people what they can do," the soccer legend told Accra-based Peace FM.

Nania FC will face the winner of the Asante Kotoko-Medeama SC/Sporting Mirren semi-final clash.
