Bundesliga side Hoffenheim have received enquires from three clubs over the availability midfielder Afriyie Acquah.

Of the three, only Rafa Benitez’s Napoli are seeking to sign him on a permanent basis.

The defensive midfielder has been in the form of his life at Parma where he is on loan and has played the last ten matches for the club.

His return to top form attracted interests from Juventus and Genoa in December.

With Cardiff City and Málaga in the wrong half of the league tables in England and Spain, coaches Ole Gunnar Solskjær and Bernd Schuster have respectfully asked if the Ghanaian is available for loan transfer this January.

With his season-long loan transfer to Parma active, it is unlikely Hoffenheim will trigger another loan transfer to enable official loan bids from Cardiff and Málaga.

However, with Napoli interested in an outright purchase, the €5m-rated player could be recalled to Germany and sold.
