Published on: 20 July 2016

Chelsea and Everton will go head-to-head to sign Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, according to The Sun. The Senegal international is reported to have caught Antonio Conte’s eye with a host of fine performances in Serie A last term. Chelsea are understood to have had a £20m bid rejected by Napoli, but the London club are set to revise their offer. Everton meanwhile, backed by new owner Farad Moshiri, are willing to spend £37m on Koulibaly as new boss Ronald Koeman aims to steer the club back into Europe.
