The champions of the National U-15 league,Tamale Utrecht on Friday paid courtesy calls on the traditional leaders in the Tamale Metropolis.
The Tamale-based Academy beat Western Planners 2-0 on Saturday at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence to win the maiden edition of the coverted trophy.
The team visited the Kasalgu Naa, Lamashe- Naa, Paramount Chief of Tamale, Dakpemah, Gulpe-Naa and the Sagnarigu Naa to present the trophy.
The chiefs called on the boys to be discipline and thanked them for making the region proud.
They tasked management to explore all possible talents within the region to ensure these boys represent the nation at international competitions in the future.
