Crisis-hit Ghanaian side New Edubiase recorded a 2-1 win over lower side Bekwai SC on Wednesday.
Edubiase, who gave been extremely quite in pre-season, managed the win against their town-rivals.
Edubiase are in financial turmoil after president Abdul Salam Yakubu put the club up for sale.
The club has struggled for financial warchest amid growing concerns it could go into administration.
Edubiase will next face Sefwi Essamu Debiso based lower side Bia FC on Sunday February 7.
