New Edubiase United have confirmed both Hearts of Oak and Medeama SC have been in contact over the possible pursuit of forward Bernard Ofori.

"We've been in negotiations with Hearts of Oak over possible transfer of Bernard Ofori to them. We have negotiated about the transfer fee and contract of the player," club president Abdul Salam Yakubu told Kessben FM.

"Medeama SC recently made enquiries of the availability of the player for their CAF Confederations Cup campaign and we told them about our negotiations with Hearts of Oak which is about only 35% advanced.

"We are yet to hear from them again but I hope from tomorrow there will be some contacts" the astute New Edubiase Utd president disclosed.

Ofori was named Ghana Premier League player of month April, 2015.

His two goals on the last day of the 2014/2015 Ghana Premier League season helped the Bekwai-based to stay up in the topflight of Ghana football.
