New Edubiase United president Abdul Salam Yakubu has expressed worry at the delay in the start of the Ghana Premier League and hints he might be forced to break camp.

Relegated King Faisal are in court contesting a Ghana FA ruling to dismiss their protest against Aduana Stars which could see them profit six points and escape demotion.

A court in Accra on Monday adjourned the case to next week for ruling.

Teams in the Ghana Premier League have been vigorously preparing ahead of the start of the season.

Club officials are beginning to feel the pinch over the delay and uncertainty surrounding the starting date of the league.

Yakubu is the latest to voice his concern on the sour situation.

“It’s a big worry we have been in camp for over a months and we are at a point of deciding to break camp,” he told GHANASoccernet.com

“When you keep going through a programme without a genuine competitive edge it weakens your team.

“We will have to sit down to decide if we will break the squad and resume when things look a bit clearer.”
