The Premier League Board has announced the 2012/2013 Ghana Premier League season will begin on October 7.
The new season begins with the opening of registration of players from July 31 to September 14.
The list of registered players will be published between September 17-21 and that will be verified between September 24-28.
Three clubs from the second-tier league are expected to be promoted before the new campaign gets into session.
Last season, Bechem United, Wassaman United and Mighty were relegated.
Asante Kotoko won the 2011/2012 Ghana Premier League title.
