Newly appointed Hearts of Oak coach David Duncan is looking for a flying start against rivals Asante Kotoko.

The former AshantiGold trainer was made the substantive replacement for CK Akunnor on Monday to guide the side for the next three years.

Hearts have won only twice in the six games played so far this season in the top flight and are now just a point above the relegation zone.

But Duncan has expressed his desire to turn things around starting with the tough trip to Kumasi to face champions and arch rivals Asante Kotoko.

“If there us anybody who wants to win, it’s me.  I am the one who wants to win than anybody else,” he said.

“And I believe it will serve as a catalyst for joy for the fans.”

Hearts will be looking to banish their title demons this term by clinching their first Premier League crown in three years.
