Newly appointed Hearts Head coach Vanli Can

Newly appointed Hearts of Oak coach Can Vanli has revealed his contract with the Phobians is only for five games and will decide if he will extend his stay at the end of the season.

The 2000 CAF Champions League winners have struggled for both form and consistency throughout the season leading to the dismissal of Coach Herbert Addo.

The Phobians sit on 15th on the league table with just five games to go and have hired experienced Turkish-German tactician Vanli Can to help save the sinking boat.

The coach who was on the bench for the game against Liberty where the Phobians won says he is only here on a short term contract and will decide his future at the end of the season.

“I have been appointed just for the five remaining games and I will decide my future at the end of the season.” Can said

“The main focus at the moment is helping Hearts of Oak stay up and that’s is where we are at the moment.’’

Hearts will take on Bechem United next in the First Capital Plus Premier League.
