Newly appointed Medeama coach Prince Owusu vows to transform side

Newly appointed Medeama coach Prince Owusu has vowed to transform the side after signing a two-year deal on Monday.

The former Tema Youth trainer put pen-to-paper on the long-term deal after completing negotiations.

The Mauve and Yellows and will be getting familiar with his personality and some of his managerial traits when he begins pre-season later this week.

The ex-Ghana Under-20 tactician is confident he can rebuild the Tarkwa-based side.

“I want to transform this side into giants and I am delighted with how things have gone so far,” he said

“Medeama is a fine club with lots of potential to attain higher heights. I had a wonderful discussion with the club president and I have bought into his vision.

“I am professional and will bring my experience to bear on the team. I will meet up with the players on Friday and hopefully we can kick-start our campaign.

Owusu is famed for honing talents of growing talents and has been tasked with restoring the side to the top of Ghana football.
