Newly-promoted English Premier League side Bournemouth are on the verge of concluding a loan deal for Ghana winger Christian Atsu, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
Cherries will complete the deal for the Ghana international by the close of the week, the playerââ¬â¢s agent has told Ghanaââ¬â¢s leading football website, GHANAsoccernet.com.
The Chelsea winger will be handed another opportunity at the newly-promoted side after struggling for game time at Everton in the just ended season.
Atsu, dubbed the ââ¬ËAfrican Messiââ¬â¢, gained Champions League experience during his time with Portuguese giants Porto and started each of his country's matches in the World Cup and Africa Cup of Nations over the past year.
He made just one Premier League start for Everton last season â⬓ against Crystal Palace in August â⬓ and was largely restricted to a bit-part role in their Europa League campaign.
But having remained a staple part of Ghanaââ¬â¢s plans, he lit up the Africa Cup of Nations 2015 and won player of the tournament as the Black Stars agonisingly lost 9-8 on penalties to Ivory Coast in the final after a 0-0 draw.
