Ghana and Las Palmas midfielder Mubarak Wakaso says he is excited following his return to Spanish Football with Las Palmas.

The-25-year-old joined newly promoted Las Palmas on a season long loan from Russian side Rubin Kazan.

This will be his second loan stint since joining the Russian side in 2013 after spending the entire last season with Scottish giants Celtic.

Wakaso who has previously played for Elche, Villarreal and Espanyol in the past says he can’t wait to get back to playing in the Spanish league.

“Ever since I left Spanish football I have always missed the league,” he told Citi-sports

“For me the Spanish league is one of the best in the world and I can’t wait to give back to the fans the believe they have reposed in me.”

The AshantiGold football club trainee scored the only goal as Ghana defeated Rwanda in Kigali.
