Nigeria head coach Stephen Keshi, has warned that there is no taking the foot off the pedal as the Eagles prepare for the semi-final against Ghana at the African Nations Championship on Wednesday.
The Eagles have been installed as tournamentââ¬â¢s favourites after dispatching hosts, South Africa in Group Aââ¬â¢s final game and overcoming a defensive Moroccan side 4-3 last Saturday in the quarter final but Keshi insists Wednesdayââ¬â¢s semi final would be tougher.
ââ¬Ëââ¬ËIf every team thinks you are the favourites then you foresee problem especially from the semi-final,ââ¬â¢Ã¢â¬â¢ Keshi told Tribunesport.
ââ¬Ëââ¬ËFrom the training sessions to the match situation, we have to work harder, we came here to enjoy ourselves as first-timers but as we progress we learn more and more, the higher you go, the tougher it becomes. I can see that the boys mean business.ââ¬â¢Ã¢â¬â¢
